Ah, Spring is here and it's snowing. How wonderful!

I am beating myself up today because I haven't done enough to learn Polish. It's quite evident. I should at least be at the B1 level by now but I am not. I took a test yesterday for B1 and only got 53 out of 150 correct. I scored highest on grammar(amazingly) but vocabulary and comprehension were my downfall. I took the test to see if I could pass it. It would make getting citizenship much faster. Alas, I let myself down. With language certification I could have citizenship in 3 months instead of waiting up to 2 years. Has anyone reading this taken the B1 exam? What can you tell me about it?

The highlight of my day was talking once again with Carmelo. He has gotten over his cold and messaged me early this morning on WhatsApp. Joan made out the shopping list for next weeks food and tomorrow we will go.

Ach, wiosna jest tutaj i pada śnieg. Jak cudownie!

Biję się w piersi, ponieważ nie zrobiłem wystarczająco dużo, żeby uczyć się polskiego. To dość oczywiste. Powinienem przynajmniej być na poziomie B1, ale nie jestem. Wczoraj zrobiłem test na B1 i otrzymałem tylko 53 na 150 poprawnych odpowiedzi. Zdobyłem najwyższe oceny z gramatyki (zadziwiająco), ale słownictwo i zrozumienie były moją porażką. Wziąłem test, aby sprawdzić, czy mogę go zdać. Dzięki temu mógłbym mieć obywatelstwo o wiele szybciej. Niestety, zawiodłem się. Dzięki certyfikatowi językowemu mógłbym mieć obywatelstwo w ciągu 3 miesięcy zamiast czekać do 2 lat. Czy ktoś czytający zrobił egzamin B1? Co możesz mi o tym powiedzieć?

Najważniejszym wydarzeniem dnia była rozmowa z Carmelo. Doszedł do siebie po przeziębieniu i poinformował mnie wcześnie rano przez  WhatsApp. Joan sporządziła listę zakupów spożywczych na następny tydzień i jutro pojedziemy.

Me estoy golpeando hoy porque no he hecho lo suficiente para aprender polaco. Es bastante evidente. Al menos debería estar en el nivel B1 pero no lo estoy. Hice una prueba ayer para B1 y solo obtuve 53 de 150 correctos. Obtuve el puntaje más alto en gramática (sorprendentemente) pero el vocabulario y la comprensión fueron mi perdición. Tomé la prueba para ver si podía pasarla. Haría que obtener la ciudadanía mucho más rápido. Por desgracia, me decepcioné. Con la certificación de idioma, podría obtener la ciudadanía en 3 meses en lugar de esperar hasta 2 años. ¿Alguien ha leído esto tomó el examen B1? ¿Qué me puedes decir al respecto?

Lo más destacado de mi día fue hablar una vez más con Carmelo. Él ha superado su resfriado y me envió un mensaje temprano esta mañana en WhatsApp. Joan hizo la lista de compras para la comida de las próximas semanas y mañana iremos.
