We took a little walk today and discover this fence covered in these beautiful little flowers of many different colors. Each flower had 3 or 4 colors in it and, unfortunately, my macro lens couldn't get close enough for you to see them clearly. We were on our way to the sweet shop to discover something new, Torta Chicharron an Pasta de Fruita. Both were delicious with coffee.The salesperson is kind enough now to write down the names of new things we try.
Earlier we spent 1 1/2 hours with Camilo and after we had our lesson with Ann and moved into Chapter 7 of the book. Because of the amount of homework we do the lessons are moving along quickly and that is good. We only have 5 weeks left.
Dziś zrobiliśmy mały spacer i odkryliśmy ogrodzenie pokryte tymi pięknymi kwiatami o wielu różnych kolorach. Każdy kwiat miał 3 lub 4 kolory, ale mój obiektyw do makro niestety nie miał wystarczającego zbliżenia abyś mógł je wyraźnie zobaczyć. Byliśmy w drodze do sklepu ze słodyczami, aby odkryć coś nowego, Torta Chicharron i Pasta de Fruita. Oba były pyszne z kawą. Sprzedawca jest na tyle miły, że zapisuje nazwy nowych rzeczy, które próbujemy.
Wcześniej spędziliśmy 1 1/2 godziny z Camilo, po czym mieliśmy naszą lekcję z Ann od 7. rozdziału książki. Ze względu na ilość zadań domowych, które wykonujemy, lekcje przerabiamy szybko i to jest dobre. Zostało nam tylko 5 tygodni do wyjazdu.

ReplyDeleteI am enjoying your Spanish blog. The little flowers you saw are called Lantana and if you crush the leaves they small like peppermint. They are perennial plants and can grow to be good size bushes with old branches resembling wood. They do last for long time in semi-desert climate. Their colors can be from white to very deep red. Under right conditions they can bloom all year long. The berries are eaten by birds.
