Yes, finally !

Finally, around 23:00 last night, someone put down the gate in the driveway so people could get out this morning and go to work. They also left a note on the gate not to put it up again. I didn't have a problem because my car was parked across the street last night from our flat.

I had an interesting conversation today with a man who skiing in the Czech Republic. He told me the people there no longer refer to it as the Czech Republic, only as Czech. Czech Republic is now only the "official" name for the country. It's like Poland's official name is Rzeczpospolita Polska.

Another interesting conversation was with an owner of a company who developed a product for libraries that puts a label on all books with the title, authors, location of the book in the library and a machine that takes returned books, reads the label and then puts the book back where it belongs. That was very interesting to me. His team was now in Lithuania setting up a library in Wilno with this method.
