Burned out-literally.

Notice anything different about our tree in this picture? Maybe click on it to get a better picture...........Yes, that's right, the top NOW has no lights after we decorated it two days ago. We came home tonight, turned it on and this is what we saw. The top line of lights are the old lights where if one burns out, the whole line is dark. We have two options now after we take off the decorations in that area. The first is to take the line off and try, one by one, to find the burned out light, replace it with a new bulb and HOPE it works because sometime even then it doesn't. The second option is buy another line of the LED lights and throw the old into the garbage. I am in favor of the second option. In fact, I have a third option, buy two more LED lines and wait for the last old line on the bottom to burn out and then out to the garbage with it, leaving an all LED lighted Christmas tree. We've been dealing with these one light burn out lines for 8 years, buying at least one new line every year and I am tired of it. Personally, I prefer the softer light of the old lights but am fed up with the burn outs.
