Tired of it.

Kind of a quiet day around here except for the news about what happened at the Trump rally in Chicago. I saw it on CNN at 8:00 and at 14:00 when I turned the TV on for a minute they were still talking about it. It amazes me how one candidate gets so much TV time with a rare mention of what is happening to the other candidates. It's a circus and Trump is the star. Bring back the days of Edward R. Murrow and John Cameron Swayze when REAL reporters were telling the news. Now it's just a pretty or handsome face reading what is on the teleprompter for whatever channel you are watching. It's the main reason why we rarely watch TV now.

On the home front the weather is still not too great. Same old thing, gray and cloudy. On the way into town I noticed they are building another new sidewalk along the road we travel. It's fairly long, leading to the village of Gołęciń. I spent two hours today on Polish, writing out my lessons and listening to a podcast between a native speaker and a man from New York who has reached fluency in Polish in four years. Of course, he has the advantage of being married to a native Polish woman and they only speak Polish in their house. That is a BIG advantage.

Ta sama stara rzecz, szary i pochmurny. W drodze do miasta zauważyłem budują kolejny nowy chodnik wzdłuż drogi podróży.
