I started making the family tree on FTM today and got about half way through the information although there is a lot missing that needs to be found. I wrote a message and sent it to different social media and genealogy sites asking if anyone knows the names of people I listed. I have done that in the past and found cousin Jan on Rootsweb but now they are owned by Ancestry.com and in order to reply to a message you have to subscribe first and pay money. I did already get a reply from RootsWeb but I\m not paying 280zl to join Ancestry for 6 months.

Dzisiaj zacząłem tworzyć drzewo genealogiczne na FTM i w połowie drogi otrzymałem informacje, że   wiele danych brakuje i muszą zostać odnalezione. Napisałem wiadomość i wysłałem  do różnych mediów społecznościowych i stron zajmujących się genealogią z pytaniem, czy ktoś zna nazwiska osób, które wymieniłem. Zrobiłem tak w przeszłości i znalazłem kuzyna Jana na portalu Rootsweb ale teraz jest on własnością Ancestry.com i aby odpowiedzieć na wiadomość, trzeba najpierw zapisać się i wnieść opłatę. Zrobiłem to, aby uzyskać odpowiedź od RootsWeb ale nie płacę 280zł aby dołączyć do Ancestry na 6 miesięcy.
