England

We had an unusual start today for our trip. As we were standing outside waiting for the taxi we ordered yesterday the taxi company called us and said they had no taxi for us. I found another number and in ten minutes we had a new taxi to take us to the airport. We arrive in time to catch our plane and were off the England.  Toni and Jackie met us at the airport in Bristol and we drove to their new house in Minchampton on the Cotswolds.

Once we got off the expressway it was the typical English countyside with small roads and beautiful scenery. They have a lovely house in a small village and everyone is so friendly. We took a little walk into the center of the village to see it and the church. The pictures will tell you more about how nice it is than words. The houses were all made in the style for that region with limestone making up all the houses. After our walk we went back to their house, had a few drinks and then Jackie made a nice dinner.

Mieliśmy niezwykły początek dziś dla naszej podróży. Jak staliśmy na zewnątrz czeka na taksówki zamówiliśmy wczoraj firma taxi wezwał nas i powiedział, że nie miał taksówkę dla nas. Znalazłam kolejny numer, a po dziesięciu minutach mieliśmy nową taksówkę do nas do lotniska. Dojeżdżamy na czas, aby złapać samolot i byliśmy od Anglii. Toni i Jackie spotkał się z nami na lotnisku w Bristolu i pojechaliśmy do nowego domu w Minchampton w Cotswolds.

  Kiedy wysiedliśmy z ekspresowej był to typowy angielski countyside z małych dróg i piękne krajobrazy. Mają piękny dom w małej wiosce, a każdy jest przyjazny. Zrobiliśmy mały spacer do centrum wsi, aby go i kościół zobaczyć. Zdjęcia dowiesz się więcej o tym, jak miło jest, niż słowa. Domy zostały wykonane w stylu dla tego regionu z wapienia tworzących wszystkie domy. Po spacerze udaliśmy się z powrotem do ich domu, wypił kilka drinków, a potem Jackie wykonane kolację.
