BIG weekend!!

Today was the day for Joan to go and get new glasses made so we went to Poznań Plaza, to Feldman's, where she got the last pair three years ago. We had the necessary prescription from our ophthamologist and Joan wanted to keep the same frames so it didn't take long. Twenty minutes later we were done and in a week to ten days she will have the new glasses. In a year or a year and half after she has the small cataracts removed those glasses will have to be replaced. Probably I'll need the same thing done but first I have to have my eyes examined.

There is a lot going on this weekend in Poznań. There is the First Taste Food Festival in the business park where Ikea is there will be trucks from all over Poland with foods from different regions. It's the first time for this event and I hope the weather will be good for it. There will be more than 200 seats available, half of tchem under a roof in case of rain. They have held this event successfully in the Pomerania area three time and now Poznań has it's opportunity to try it.

In Galeria Malta it's Eko Weekend.  This weekend, 8-10 May will reign fragrant herbs. Customer centers will take part in workshops on their self-cultivation. Furthermore, they will be able to buy flavorful and fresh plants in pots. And for lovers of regional and traditional products there will be a  stand with delicious cold meats, cheese and bread.
The next edition of "Eco Weekend" will introduce amateurs healthy and environmentally friendly products in the fragrant world, spring herbs, which are not only a perfect complement to dishes, but also wonderfully decorate balconies or kitchen windowsills. Gallery customers will be able to take part in special workshops with planting herbs on Saturday and Sunday at. 13.00.

In Mickiewicz Park, in front of the opera house, hundreds of tulips and other flowers will be planted to once again beautify the park and fountain area.

Galeria klienci będą mogli wziąć udział w specjalnych warsztatach z sadzenie ziół w sobotę i niedzielę w. 13.00.

W Parku Mickiewicza, naprzeciwko opery, setki tulipanów i innych kwiatów będą sadzone ponownie upiększyć teren parku i fontanny.
