It's done.

Surprise day to start off February...sunshine. With the vitamin D shining through our windows like a breath of fresh Spring air,  we completed the task of taking down the tree and putting everything away until next time. The corner by the book shelves looks a little empty now but it's nice to have access to our books again, especially for Joan and her cookbooks. It doesn't take long to take it down, only an hour, then a little clean up and we're done.

On YouTube I found some complete games of our still favorite college basketball team, Duke, so I put them on our external drive and we can watch them whenever we want to on the TV.  The coach of that team, of  Polish origin, is the best in the country not only because of basketball but because he takes the student's future life in consideration and develops them as they grow. He maintains high standards for them all and those who don't keep them are taken off the team. Only last week he took one of them off the team because the young man wasn't living up to those standard. As good a player as he was, most coaches would have overlooked this and kept him on the team so they could keep winning.
“It is a privilege to represent Duke University and with that privilege comes the responsibility to conduct oneself in a certain manner,” Mike Krzyzewski said. “After Rasheed repeatedly struggled to meet the necessary obligations, it became apparent that it was time to dismiss him from the program.”


Niespodzianka dzień zacząć od lutego ... słońca. Z witaminą D świecące przez naszych okien, takich jak powiew świeżego wiosennego powietrza zakończyliśmy zadanie podjęcia w dół drzewa i oddanie wszystkiego się do następnego razu.Rogu przez książki półki wygląda trochę pusty, ale teraz to miło znowu mieć dostęp do naszych książek, szczególnie dla Joan i jej książki kucharskie. To nie potrwa długo, aby wziąć go, tylko godzinę, potem trochę oczyścić i skończymy.

Na YouTube znalazłem kilka kompletnych gier naszego wciąż ulubionej drużyny koszykówki kolegium, księcia, więc umieścić je na naszej dysku zewnętrznym i możemy oglądać je kiedy chcemy, aby na ekranie telewizora. Trener tej drużyny, polskiego pochodzenia, jest najlepszy w kraju, nie tylko ze względu na koszykówkę, ale dlatego, że trwa przyszłe życie studenta w zamian i rozwija je, jak rosną. On utrzymuje wysokie standardy dla nich wszystkich i tych, którzy ich nie trzymać się zdjęty z zespołu. Tylko w ubiegłym tygodniu wziął jeden z nich się zespół, bo młody człowiek nie mieszkał aż do tych standardów. Jako dobry gracz jak on, większość trenerów nie przeoczyć tego i trzymał go w zespole, aby mogli wygrywać.

"To zaszczyt reprezentować Duke University oraz z tego przywileju jest obowiązek zachowywać się w określony sposób," Mike Krzyzewski powiedział. "Po Rasheed wielokrotnie walczył do spełnienia koniecznych obowiązków, stało się jasne, że nadszedł czas, aby zwolnić go z programu."
