Got it!

OK, it's official now, Joan has the document officially giving her a European Union Permanent Residency card. It is good for 5 years and at that time she just fills out an application to renew the card for another 5 years. Mine is different, good for 10 years at a time and expires in 2020 while hers expires in 2019. As a EU permanent resident it means that she can move to any EU country and only must provide proof of health insurance and stable income to live there. I thought it would be different for me but the helpful lady at immigration said it is the same for me, NOT that we are thinking of moving to another country.

Now we have to take this official decision paper, proof of our flat contract and passport and get a document of residency card(where we live exactly)  With this document we go back to immigration, give them this document and in one week the card will be printed in Warsaw and sent to us. Earlier we went to our bank and paid the 50zl required for the printing of the card. It will be interesting to see what it looks like. I've never see an official EU resident card.
