Today we had a nice breakfast on our patio overlooking
the sea. We had muesli, coffee and
strudel for breakfast that we bought at the local market.
About 10AM we drove the 8,6 miles to Zadar to take a
look at the city. It was definitely the smallest of the cities we have visited
but still had the usual charm of a very old city.
The street are all in white marble and many are
without traffic in the old part of the city. We visited a few of the older
sites like the 9th century church, towers, the park of seven wells and had an
excellent lunch in one of the many restaurants in the squares, of which there
are many.
It's a
beautiful location where we are staying and the weather has been great
for the whole trip. I don't think I
could have planned it any better. Each
accomodation was better than the next and I'm sure our guests are impressed
with Croatia. Joan and I certainly
are. We thing we noticed and I don't
know if statistics would prove it, but it seems the average Croatian woman is
taller than a Polish woman. Not
necessarily more beautiful, just taller.
Tomorrow we leave for Zagreb in the morning and
hopefully I will be able to post to the blog from our next location.
Street są z białego marmuru, a wielu jest bez ruchu, w starej części miasta. Odwiedziliśmy kilka starszych stron takich jak 9. wiecznego kościoła, wieże, park z siedmiu studni i mieliśmy doskonały obiad w jednej z wielu restauracji w kwadraty, z których jest wiele.
Jest to piękne miejsce, gdzie przebywają i pogoda była świetna dla całej podróży. Nie sądzę, że mogę zaplanowali to lepiej. Każde zakwaterowanie było lepsze niż następny i jestem pewien, że nasi goście są zadowoleni z Chorwacji. Joan i ja na pewno są. We rzeczą jaką zauważyłem i nie wiem, czy statystyki okaże, ale wydaje się, że przeciętna kobieta Chorwacki jest wyższy niż Polki. Niekoniecznie piękniejsze, po prostu wyższy.
Jutro wyjeżdżamy do Zagrzebia rano i mam nadzieję, że będę w stanie odpowiedzieć na bloga z naszej następnej lokalizacji.
