Blues.

Yesterday there wasn't anything new. I spent most of the morning repairing my second laptop and restoring it back to it's original condition. Unfortunately that necessitates reinstalling the software programs I use on it so it takes time.  I think it did eliminate the blue screen problem but I still have it on this newer computer and probably will end up doing the same thing.  A friend said I should just take it to Computronix and have them fix the blue screen problem rather than restoring the whole system so maybe I will.  It's frustrating to be right in the middle of something and all of a sudden the blue screen pops up and there goes the computer.

Sunny today with no heavy snow as predicted so that is a good thing. 

Today Joan is volunteering a little of her time to see if she can help a little seven year old improve her English.  It seems like a big task to me but Joan has more patience than I do and more experience with seven year olds so maybe it will be good for her.

To celebrate St. Patrick's Day, Poznań has put green lights on three buildings in the rynek at night.

Wczoraj nie było nic nowego. Spędziłem większość poranka na naprawie mojego drugiego laptopa i przywróceniu go z powrotem do pierwotnego stanu. Niestety to wymaga ponownej instalacji programów, których na nim używałem, a to wymaga czasu. Myślę, że to nie wyeliminuje problemu niebieskiego ekranu, jaki  mam  na nowszym komputerze i prawdopodobnie skończy się tak samo. Przyjaciel powiedział, że należy po prostu zgłosić się do Computronix i dać im do rozwiązania problem  niebieskiego ekranu zamiast  przywracenia całego systemu, więc może tak zrobię. To frustrujące, kiedy jesteś w samym środku czegoś i nagle wyskakuje niebieski ekran, i komputer nie chodzi.

Dzisiaj jest słonecznie, bez wielkiego śniegu, jak przewidywano, także jest to dobra rzecz.

Dzisiaj Joan poświęca  trochę swojego czasu jako wolontariuszka, aby zobaczyć, czy może trochę  pomóc  siedmiolatce poprawić jej angielski. Dla mnie wydaje się to wielkim zadaniem , ale Joan ma więcej cierpliwości niż ja i więcej doświadczenia z siedmiolatkami, więc może to będzie dobre dla tego dziecka.

Aby uczcić Dzień Świętego Patryka  Poznań zapalił w nocy zielone światło na trzech budynkach w Rynku .
