No dip.

Today we tried to buy "dip".  You know, the stuff you put fresh vegetables into or potato chips or any thing else you like.  We tried three different stores but they never heard of such a thing. It's very common in the U.S, sometimes French dip, Rancho dip, cucumber dip, etc. but here it's non-existant.  We asked a friend if she knew of it and she also never heard of it.  Now, Joan is searching through recipe books to find some to make for the party tomorrow.

Dzisiaj próbowaliśmy kupić "kąpieli". Wiesz, rzeczy można umieścić warzywa na lub chipsy, czy czegoś innego, jak tylko chcesz. Próbowaliśmy trzy różne sklepy, ale nigdy nie słyszałem o czymś takim. Jest bardzo popularna w USA, czasem francuski dip, dip Rancho, dip ogórek, itp., ale tutaj to wcale nie było. Poprosiliśmy przyjaciela, gdyby wiedziała o tym i nigdy też słyszałem. Teraz, Joan przeszukiwania książek z przepisami, aby znaleźć jakiś aby na imprezę jutro.

    I could swear that I bought something like that once at a supermarket in Warsaw to dip some chips in. I think it was called some kind of "sos".
