Prague Trip-Day 1

What started out as a great trip turned into a disaster when we reached Prague and couldn't find the road to Pruhonice where we were to stay. We arrived in Prague, in the rain, and drove around in circles looking for the road.  I asked 12 people but not one could speak English or Polish to help us.  Finally, in desperation I went into a supermarket and asked if anyone could help and even though I found no compatible language, one man went out to his car, got a detailed map of Prague and showed me how to get to Pruhonice.  Finally, at 9PM we are here, exhausted from the delay.  The trip itself was wonderful with warm weather and sun.  Only when we arrived did it begin to rain and the temperature dropped to 17C.  I took a few pictures on the way here but I'm too tired to bother posting them now.

Tomorrow we will take the bus and subway into Prague and begin to explore it.

To, co zaczęło się jako wielka podróż okazała się katastrofą, kiedy dotarliśmy do Pragi i nie mógł znaleźć drogi do Pruhonice, gdzie byliśmy na pobyt. Przyjechaliśmy w Pradze, w deszczu, i jeździł w kółko szukając drogi. Zapytałam 12 osób, ale nie można mówić języku angielskim lub polskim nam pomóc. Wreszcie, w desperacji poszłam do supermarketu i zapytał, czy ktoś mógłby pomóc i mimo że nie znaleziono kompatybilnego język, jeden człowiek wyszedł do swojego samochodu, ale szczegółową mapę Pragi i pokazał mi jak dostać się do Pruhonice. Wreszcie, na godzina dwudziesta pierwsza jesteśmy tu, wyczerpany z opóźnieniem. Podróż się było cudowne z ciepłej pogody i słońca. Tylko wtedy, gdy przyjechaliśmy to się zaczęło padać i temperatura spadła do 17C. Zrobiłem kilka zdjęć po drodze, ale jestem zbyt zmęczony, by niepokoić zamieszczając je teraz.

Jutro jedziemy autobusem i metrem do Pragi i zacząć go zbadać.
