Notice anything missing? I'll give you a hint, it was blue and white and we've been waiting for a long time to have it put up again.........................OK, the answer is the awning. Our friend Stanisław came over today at noon and helped me carry it down to the garage where it will be stored now. It was a little difficult maneuvering it down the staircases but we did it and now we have our balcony back for use. It's a pity we couldn't get it put back up on the outside wall because it did stop the morning heat coming into the dining room when the sun was out but autumn is quickly approaching so the heat is welcome now. Joan and I are both happy that we have the balcony clear and can use it for our next party. We've been delaying than because of the awning, we didn't want anyone tripping over it.
