Winter Park.

Last night we were invited to some friends for dinner near Sołacki Park. It was in one of the older homes in that area with three floors, beautiful parquet floors, antique furniture and a nice garden behind the house.
Inside in the dining room we were served salmon with tomotoes covered in mozzerella cheese and a salad. The china was nice, passed down through the generations and there were 6 of us all together. After dinner we went into another room for coffee and pastries and to sample a cherry liqueur made by the husband of the house. Before the liqueur we were served cognac, then a vodka made with eggs. It was the first time I had tasted that kind of vodka. After having more than one glass of the liqueur it was decided that I would not drive back home and we called a taxi to take us the 6 km back home. Cost was 15zl ($5).

In the morning, with the wind blowing, cold temperature and snowing, I was in the apartment until I saw bus #64 pulling up across the street, then went out and got on it. This bus stops within 3 blocks of where my car was so after exiting the bus I walked to the car. It was only 1/2 block from Sołacki park and it was so beautiful outside I decided to take a walk to the park and take some pictures. There was no one in the park except for a man with his small child. The park was beautiful, quiet, peaceful and serene. I took these pictures and the ones in the slideshow, walked back to the car and drove home to write this blog.

Wewnątrz w jadalni były podawane z łososia z tomotoes objęte mozzerella ser i sałatki.

I love that we can put pics to full screen--really brings out the beauty of nature! The snow here in Michigan is beautiful right now, fresh and clean...light and fluffy!!!

Just curious as to what the cost for a dinner like that
    for two people would be.

It sounded like it was delicious.
